MAGNASEAL Magnetic Leak Patch
KEY FEATURES
Protection of responders and the environment
Minimises direct contact with leaking substances and helps reduce the risk of soil and water contamination.
Reduced spill-related costs
Helps limit costs associated with clean-up, product loss, operational downtime, fines and potential litigation.
Fast and easy application
Can stop hazardous leaks within seconds and may be applied by one person by throwing it into position, using a pike pole or applying it directly. It can also be repositioned when required.
High chemical resistance
Tested against 25 commonly transported and used chemicals at their highest concentrations. An optional peel-and-stick Teflon sheet is available for extreme applications.
Powerful rare-earth magnets
High-strength rare-earth magnets provide a reliable seal from at least 2 bar (25–30 psi) up to approximately 15 bar (220 psi) under ideal conditions. A storage bag is included to reduce magnetic pull during handling and storage.
High-quality flexible construction
The durable material does not deteriorate over time, adapts to concave and convex surfaces and offers high thermal resistance.
Patented protected-magnet design
The magnets are fully encapsulated in urethane to protect them against heat, cracking, rusting and sparking.
